I know with wishlists and giving, the issue of Amazon Prime has popped up a lot and I just saw that Amazon Student is being offered free for six months to anyone with an .edu email address (I teach at a college and have an .edu, so I lied.). Anyway, if you have such an email or know someone who does, it's a great way to watch movies, borrow one book from the Kindle library each month for free, and avoid shipping. [just read the fine print, you only get free shipping.]
ETA: Doi. I also get credit with Amazon if you sign up with the link, so I can use that to buy stuff on my own wishlist or (more likely) for some other GTers.
ETA: Also, Amazon launched Amazon Smile, that works in conjunction with their regular site and their prime accounts where you can pick a non-profit and they will donate .5% of every purchase to that non-profit. There are over a million non-profits on there, tons of small local places, and well as the biggies. Shopping is exactly the same as it was before, you just have to type smile.amazon.com instead of just amazon.com
