I don't know why but my Macbook, iPad and iPhone charger cords all fray at right at the joint between the cord and the device side plug. I mean, I know why - because there is the most tension/pressure etc. at that point. But! shouldn't Apple know that are make them less fragile? I've had this computer for four years and I just ripped through the protective coating on the cord exposing the wiring for the second time! At the Apple store, a new one costs like $79. I found one on Amazon for $56. Does anyone know a way to replace this for less money or should I just suck it up and continue giving all my money to what is starting to seem like Apple's secret plan to continually take all my money even when I already own a full suite of their products.
