Hello everyone!!! It’s been ages since I’ve been on here - not for any specific reason, but after my prolonged narcoleptic hiatus from work last fall, I threw myself back into work with a vengeance when I returned, with the result that my social life (both online and off) has been minimal-to-nonexistent until recently.

ANYWHO. I’m back and appealing to the wisdom of the GT hivemind for some book suggestions. I’m heading back to Canada for the summer and need some reading material for the plane trip. The main thing I’m looking for is something engrossing, that doesn’t require *too* much work to get into as I tend to be shifty and anxious on planes, but something that has some meat to it at the same time. Genre-wise, I’m not fussy - fiction, non-fiction, it’s all good. Lately I’ve been enjoying a lot of Gothic horror and some Kafka, but I feel like I need something a bit more pleasant for the plane.
