So yesterday, the heat sensor in my car started creeping up every time I idled. I took it to a garage, since I was scared to drive it home (40-mile commute), and it turned out I needed a new radiator, which was massively expensive and required me missing four hours of work. But I got it fixed, and they said the engine was in great shape, so I was just relieved I got everything sorted.

Then this evening I went down to my car to drive home, and one of my tires is flat. I don’t have a spare. Nowhere that sells tires is still open. I’m 40 miles from home, and my dogs are at home, so I can’t just get a hotel room down here.

There’s a semi-local Enterprise that’s open until 11. But I was on hold for 20 minutes before someone answered, than the call dropped right in the middle of me giving them my number so they could call me back if the call dropped. So I don’t know if there are cars available, I don’t know how fucking long I’m going to have to wait for another operator and even if I do manage to rent a car and can avoid spending god knows how many hundreds of dollars on cabs, I’m going to be home hours late and have to pay for two days of car rental. I HATE MY WHOLE FUCKING LIFE.
