I thought the series was so good, so complex, so interesting. I never read the book - so it was all new to me.

So, I don’t know whether her dissociated personality is real or if it was a hoax with Jeremiah. I’m inclined to think the latter. I was wondering today if we ever really saw the real Grace - or if we just saw the Grace that Dr. Jordan so desperately wanted her to be. It made me think of Virginia Woolf’s “To the lighthouse” in which you never know what the objective truth is because everything in the book is through the subjective lens of one of the characters. Who was Grace? What really happened in her life? What was she really like? Maybe she really did lead her lawyer on because she knew that was what he wanted/needed from her - whereas Dr. Jordan needed a meek, soft-spoken, thoughtful and gentle young woman.

Kudos to Zachary Levi for almost being invisible in the role in a way Anna Paquin just wasn’t for me.

I have more thoughts - but will pause for now to allow for discussion! :)
