A friend/acquaintance has posted on Facebook that this past week when she went in for her 20 week ultrasound, they discovered the baby has a number of developmental issues that leave it with zero chance of survival outside the womb and a high probability of not makeing it to full term at all. She's decided to terminate the pregnancy and wanted to put a kibosh on baby talk on her Facebook.

My question is what should I do or say? We've never been super close but we lived aim the same building in my old apartment complex. We still talk sometimes and we see each other out and about because I'm still in the same neighborhood, just not the same complex anymore.

I feel for her and want her to know that if I can do anything, I'm there but don't want to say or do the wrong thing. Is sending her flowers tacky or inappropriate? Should I just send a card? A text letter her know I'm here for her?
