Anyone here work with databases (Access 2013)? This question isn't mine, but its for my sister-in-law. I told her I'd ask the hive on her behalf.

"Access 2013, building a database that needs an inventory system that will take deduct raw ingredients from an inventory system. The raw ingredients will be combined into formulas to make bread, but I need the inventory deducted from raw ingredients. My question would be is the more of a formula within the table or a query or a combo" no clue if that makes sense, I don't have enough working knowledge/intuition yet to be able to make these deductions myself, I'm trying to learn as much as I can, but can't seem to find too much about this type of inventory monitoring, not sure what to classify it as.
