I actually cooked tonight, in spite of my knee still being miserable. Simple food, but hey, I cooked!

I cut up little red potatoes into wedges, tossed them with olive oil and a spice blend, and roasted them. While those cooked, I fried turkey burgers, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder, and topped them with a fried egg. The older kids had theirs on bread, with American cheese. The younger kids had theirs plain.

I’ve missed cooking. I’ve been so ridiculously busy (and then damaged) that I’ve barely gotten in the kitchen for weeks. There’s been a lot of canned soup and cold sandwiches, lately!
