I’m probably starting this prematurely, since I haven’t eaten my dinner yet, but it smells so good that I want to discuss it now, not wait 30 minutes.

I made turkey meatballs (ground turkey, egg, panko bread crumbs, ginger, cayenne, and green onions) and baked them. While they were baking, I sauteed a green pepper and an onion both cut into large chunks until softened, then poured in about half a bottle of Soy Vay Island Teriyaki sauce and a can of pineapple chunks. Now, the sauce and meatballs are all simmering for about 20 minutes, and will then be eaten over a bed of rice. I can’t wait!

ETA: Not premature at all, just delicious. The turkey meatballs soaked in the teriyaki juices well and all is delicious. I was debating pork or turkey for this, and am glad I went with turkey. The meatballs are a little plain on their own, but with the sauce it’s delicious.
