Big Finish Productions released their 50th Anniversary Doctor Who audioplay, "Light at the End," a month early.

At first I was kind of upset because I had been planning on saving up to get the Limited Collector's Edition cd boxset and I thought I had another month, but I realized I can do the cheap download of the Standard Edition for now and get the boxset later (ETA: I had promised myself not to spend money on non-essentials until I'm in a more financially stable position, but THIS IS IMPORTANT).

Um, just to try to get across how big this is for me... pretty much ever since it was announced I have considered this to be the true 50th Anniversary special. I'm guessing a lot of you have probably been going crazy waiting for the tv special (are there any Big Finish fans on GT? I've never seen anyone else talk about it). I've been going crazy waiting for this. For me, this is the big, important special. This is what I've been excited about for months. Not seeing David Tennant and Matt Smith together, although I do think that will be cool. But hearing the voices of Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Paul McGann together. Along with a whole lot of Companions. And the Master, as played by Geoffrey Beevers (crispy!Master).

DOWNLOADING NOW. The site actually crashed earlier because so many people were trying to download it at once!

ETA this picture for no real reason except LOOK AT THEM ALL THERE TOGETHER AWW.
