Well there was a case of a school refusing to let a young student with cerebral palsy bring her service dog. The school argued they had humans to do what she needed. They also wanted to parents to go through an ardous appeal process and to by pass the courts since it was cheaper to go through the internal appeals process. Ehelena and Wonder won and Elena Kagan wrote for the majority. There is another special needs school case being decided and it focuses on the term adequete. This case could have wider implications, I hope this 8 and 0 decision will mean SCOTUS will again favor a special needs student.
