So. I have started doing the whole trying to actively not kill my self slowly. I have stopped smoking! (Like legit- I’m a month since my last smoke and don’t even really miss them) And I have started doing the whole trying to get in some semblance of shape thing. Not even worried about weight loss, just generally trying to be able to walk up hills without you know, keeling over (though. some weight loss will be appreciated, and if I can shape up to look cute in leggings when I move to the PNW hey. I’m ok with that.)

So! I have decent walking shoes! I have a safe place to walk! I’m averaging about 3 miles a day broke up into chunks (usually 2-3 separate walks with my dogs of around a mile-ish) But!! I think I have shin splints and they hurt like a fucking mug yo. I stretch, I’m not going wicked fast at first I don’t know what to do. Because life- and my left shin- is pain.
