Most of my dresses lean toward the sundress variety. I tend to buy pieces that are sleeveless so that I can wear them year round and throw a cardigan over them in the winter. Most of the time this works just fine and nobody can tell that it's actually a summer dress. But I want to know if a certain dress is just going to look kind of silly in the winter. It looks a lot like this:

It's the exact same color and has that sheer/decorative hem. It's also cotton (which I think is my main concern). I want to pair it with a black cardigan, black tights and black shoes. Is this going to look silly? Or do you think it's possible to pull off?

It's my favoritest dress and I HATE not wearing it!
