Talking to people on SNS, many relayed that they wished there was an outlet to talk about fitness, eating, wellness, taking care of ourselves, etc. It’s been tough lately, both because of the weather and because of, well....the world we’re living in. There used to be a weekly post on Thursday evening for people to check in and share as much or little as they wanted, and I volunteered to bring it back.

Anyway, I finally committed to getting out and running on a regular basis again and am very happy with my progress. I’m also sustaining a mostly vegan diet (with occasional dairy thrown in) for the time being, trying to get back on track, after the last 4 months of 2016 slayed me, and I ended up gaining a lot of weight and establishing unhealthy habits. Excited for the holiday weekend. I’m planning on taking two days to go to Pittsburgh just because it’s somewhere different and is close-ish but still requires hours and hours of driving.
