Has anyone ever done a FODMAP elimination diet? My gastroenterologist just put me on one. It seems like 90% of the foods I eat are not allowed. I also don’t typically prepare food for myself, and it seems like it’ll be hard to manage the diet without cooking for myself. I need to start tomorrow and keep it up for a month until my next appointment, so I guess I’m going to the grocery store tonight and donating my current supply of groceries to my roommate. I’d really appreciate any advice. Also, I was thinking I’d download an app, but all the apps on the App Store have mixed reviews, so app recommendations would be appreciated too.
ETA: Can anyone recommend a food journal app that does NOT count calories, or lets you tell it not to count calories? I’m recovered from an ED and would rather stay away from even seeing calorie counts.
