It appears to be more useful for some states than others depending on how much info is there, but for instance for California, it provides the breakdowns of where the funding is coming from.

This has been really useful in the past where the wording of a proposition was exremely convoluted but the motives of the people throwing lots of money at something to pass it were pretty transparent.
