I was just driving home, and heard our new AG Sessions talk about “Why this immigration change is necessary” in the eyes of the drumpf administration.

He said something to the equivalent of, “The FBI has about 300 refugees under investigation at the present time” for possible terrorism ties.

Let that sink in for a minute,

THREE HUNDRED.

HUNDRED.

Out of the estimated 3 MILLION refugees who have been resettled here since the ‘80's according to the Pew Center:

“About 3 million refugees have been resettled in the U.S. since Congress passed the Refugee Act of 1980,”

They are banning people who desperately need help, over a 1/10,000 chance (if i am doing the math correctly, that’s a .01%?) chance that any SINGLE refugee MIGHT POSSIBLY end up with a possible link to terrorism.

Maybe.

Or, using some numbers from my fair state, we have a population of ~5.5 million. 3.5 million of them are in the MSP metro region

If you were to take Minneapolis, St. Paul, and all of the ‘burbs except Edina (pop. 49,376, on the lower center-left of this regional pic, outlined in a “U” shape by highways 169, 494, and 35W:)

MSP Metro approx. population 3.5 million

Otherwise seen closer here:

LESS THAN HALF OF THE CITY OF HILLTOP (Hilltop is that tiiiiny yellow block within the city of Columbia Heights in this pic:)

Out of that ENTIRE metro population, would be the ONLY ones under suspicion...

This is UTTERLY ridiculous.
