Update: Reposting because kinja was keeping people from posting photos. Try dragging and dropping the photo directly into the comment editor versus using the photo upload tool. Or, make a post on your blog, upload a photo there, save it as a draft and just copy the image link from there and post it in the comments. Good afternoon, lovelies! And welcome to Fur Face Friday (FFF)! I’m one of your new hosts, Xyl0!

Work got a bit away from me this morning, so apologies on the late post. I’ll just pretend it’s because I’m Texan and we do everything on country time here. (Shhh, facw; please don’t tell them that’s not really true).

Anyway, onward with the small print of how FFF works:

Favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (Sorcia, EdieBealesCostume, KrabbyPaddy, Mrsfinch, facw and Xyl0), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY. However, in the interest of GT solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets and other furry pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE. As always, we’re happy to dismiss any pictures if you decide you want them taken down at some point.

If you don’t have a pet of your own to feature this week, I highly recommend featuring and linking to any cuties who are available for adoption and looking for a home on any shelter or rescue site. I know I’m not the only one lurking Petfinder!

In that sharing spirit, if you don’t have a pet but want to participate, drop off your best Internet find of an animal gif or meme in the comments. The more animal lovers, the merrier. Speaking of sharing, feel free to share these posts anywhere in the Kinja-verse, because it has been scientifically documented that looking at pictures of cute animals reduces stress.

So, that’s how it’s done.

Last week we were introduced to facw, who did an excellent job of picking out all sorts of cute. This week kinja decided to kinja and flip around where everything was set on the page, giving me and Enzo a bit of a headache, but it looks like that’s all fixed now. So, ONWARD with last week’s winners!

First up we have Mrs. Finch’s Sir Boswell. Sir Boswell is a right proper chap who is a professional relaxer. Here he is demonstrating the best use of throw pillows:

Next up is Miss Leslie, rescued by the amazing InfrequentlyVile, who has shown Leslie that furever homes are real. Thanks to IV, Leslie is on the up and up!

Positively Periwinkle got to hang out with these two fashionable pups. Their sweater vest game is on point! I’m kinda jealous of Abby’s knitted heart sweater. And Bennie definitely deserves all the treats.

On the feline front, Asher definitely knows who’s in charge — he is! As he surveys his new domain he’s helping KK4Bama get comfy in their new digs, so good job, Asher!

Asher brought up warm memories for McCoy’s Mistress and her much missed Toby. We pause to remember such a sweet kitty:

A FFF post wouldn’t be complete without one of our floofiest regulars, Flamingo83's Chiflado! Qué onda, Chiflado?!

Lexador’s Eny (top) and Lady Sparrow’s Mickey are a big fan of their Easter stuffies:

But PumpkinSpies’ Gus doesn’t seem to be quite so sure of those toys they’re playing with. It’s ok, though. We here at FFF are just extremely glad and relieved that Gus’ health is on the mend!

Lawlover’s Catlover heard we like ginger and white cats. We do! Welcome, cutie pie!

CindyLouCthulu’s Piggy cannot into internet meme. Tape squares have no hold over her, but they are tasty!

And HeyDorthVader’s Pemi celebrated the BIG 3! Her special day was filled with lounging and ladybugs. Sounds like a proper birthday celebration to me!

There’s no such thing as an ugly duckling, but Vaginafication Nation’s juvenile ducks and chickens are still trying to grow into their feathers. You’ll get there, guys!

And who says cats can’t be trained? Here we’ve got Piranha Plant’s Baxter being a very good boy with his harness and lead. My own Enzo will let me get a harness on him, but he still won’t let me walk him. Perhaps Baxter could give him a pep talk?

Thin White Dutchess’ Thor answers a very important question this week: Does it baby?

YES IT DOES!

That’s it for this week, folks! Let’s see what your furry, finned and feathered friends are up to this week! Show us your fur faces!
