or maybe it is; I try to avoid radios and/or PA systems playing Christmas music.

We've been talking about this, or some of us have, and I have been getting too negative about it. So here is a small sampling of some Seasonal music that doesn't make me want to vomit with rage

"A Snowflake Fell and it Felt Like A Kiss," by Glasvegas

I got this on a free iTunes sampler a while back. Isn't it pretty? I think it's pretty.

"Fairytale of New York," by the Pogues featuring Kirsty MacCol

You've probably heard this one, but I don't hear it on KLUV all that much. Nothing says Christmas like Kirsty Macool shrieking "You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy f____t, Happy Christmas your arse, I pray God it's our last."

"Everything is One Big Christmas Tree"

A Magnetic Fields Christmas Song? A Magnetic Fields Christmas Song!

"We Just Go Nuts at Christmas Time" by They Might be Giants

This oddity (you have to go a couple of minutes into the video to hear it, I think) I first heard on Dial-a-Song online. As far as I know it's not recorded anywhere. It's certainly not on their Holiday album, which does contain some other great holiday obscurities.

"Merry Christmas from the Family," by Robert Earl Keen

This is the one. Listen to the first couple of lines and try not to fall in love with it.
