Okay so a client that we work with pretty frequently is looking for a graphic design person. Salary in the 40k-55k range, permanent position, good benefits, great company. Not our usual wheelhouse but doable and again we work with them a lot so we know what we're getting involved with.
They don't want someone who's experience is mainly freelance. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't graphic design like ALL FREELANCE? Most of the time you're hustling for yourself and managing different projects. Or is that mainly just at the beginning of your career? We're trying to manage the hiring managers expectations, since she's normally very reasonable. Any insider information would be great.
