I saw that it got a lot of negative reviews online but I thought this was a pretty good movie, hard as it was to watch. Yes, the soundtrack was a little much, but I guess for me, some parts, like her relationship with her mom were somewhat relatable. My mom wasn't as disconnected emotionally and harsh, but we had a LOT of tense moments, where my dad tried to intervene a lot. I also get how she's just now at 29, allowing herself to be just - lost. Minus, the whole relationship with an underage neighborhood kid - I think we've all been there at some point of our lives. Whether it's even just for a day, where it seems no one can just understand why you feel so lost or unfortunately, criticise and patronize your confusion as her mom did. Even at almost 30. Anyhow, I wanted to hear from anyone their thoughts about this flick.
