Whenever I have to write an artist statement, I feel like a hoighty toighty snob using words to make my art sound significant. I could use some feedback on a 250 character statement that a lot of people will be seeing during the sale of my watercolor dog silhouette prints (sample above)-

"There is something very cathartic about mixing a dab of watercolor pigment into water. I can control the outlines of my silhouettes, but the real beauty is the unpredictability of color blending with paper."

A "That doesn't sound supremely stupid to me!" or other constructive criticism would be very helpful. Thanks GT!
