but either way, I am kind of amused.

Background: last Monday I saw my psychiatrist for our quarterly appointment. I guess she thought I was throwing off major red flags for thyroid problems, so she ordered me to have my blood drawn by the end of the week. I took care of that the next day. Today, I finally got a call from the psychiatrist's office, and my thyroid levels ... are normal. I don't have an underactive thyroid — I'm just depressed/have depression, which I was diagnosed with four years ago. I wish my problems were as easily fixable* as an underactive thyroid, but what am I going to do, y'know?

*My depression is relatively under control, but certain things exacerbate it even with medication and all that.
