I'm currently writing this as I sit in my bathroom with my cats and glass of wine waiting for the tornado warnings to stop and the greenish clouds overhead to stop. We are on this weird valley that most weather skips over. But when possible funnel clouds are spotted 7 miles southwest, moving northeast, I figure caution is good.

I have two big fears, elephants and tornadoes. Fortunately I've learned to manage them, which is why I'm sitting in my bathroom calmly rather than having a panic attack (the wine helps), but I'm not a fan! I don't see how people in Oklahoma don't just live in their basements! And, I'm grateful to have a garden level apartment.

ETA: We just got tornado sirens. Glad my bathroom hiding wasn't total overreaction.
