I'm considering buying a small business.

I've been part of a niche community of browser-based simulation games for a long time, and one of my favorite games is up for sale. The owner doesn't have time to devote to it anymore, and the game has been dying. I've been an admin on this game for several years, and I really want to buy it and put some love into it and help it grow again.

The thing is, this kind of website takes a lot of work to maintain. It's doing day to day stuff, handling payments, managing staff, engaging with the community, and dealing with customer service. It's a huge commitment, and I'm not really sure if I'm ready to handle this sort of thing.

I'd really like to do this, and to make it work, but I'm not sure if I could handle this sort of management work for day after day, for possibly for years on end. I'm confident that I could get this game running and turning a profit, but I'm not sure if I could fit it into my life and keep up to motivation.

Any small business owners here? Any advice?
