(WARNING! I am high of cold medicine and might not make sense but I wanted to share the news)

My big trip is coming to a close, so my mother and I are planning our mini-vacation before heading back into the Real World. We were going to spend a whole week in Paris, but my mother has shown some interest in London of all places. She figured that we'd take a slight detour there for an overnight trip and then return to our hotel. Yes, it sounds extravagant, but I don't care! I've always wanted to go to London, and I'll take whatever chance I can get. Thing is, I'm not sure if London can be taken in a the span of a couple of days. Also, being February and everything, I can imagine the weather being awful for our thinned blood.it sounds like such a great idea, but also a bad one.

I have so many ideas of what I can do in the first day ( fish and chips, tea houses, mince pies, and general food tourism because I am strangely fond of English food), but I'm not even sure where to go from there.Anyone familiar with London or actual people from London know what to expect and what can be done in a very short amount of time? I'd really appreciate any feedback, because while reading blogs is nice, solid advice works wonders. Thanks to everyone in advance!
