So I learned if you just look sad and confused when trying to open your car hood someone will come over and help. I was completely out of windshield wiper fluid yesterday and stopped at the auto place on the way home. My car was covered in salt residue from the snow and it was probably a bad idea to drive.

I stopped in to Auto Zone and they had two kinds on sale, I had no idea which to get but a clerk jumped in right away and told me she uses the one that was less expensive. Awesome and she seemed to be the manager or at least manager on duty.

I got outside and my windshield is so bad I have to do it right in the parking lot. I find the little latch, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the hood up. Thankfully a girl was waiting for someone in her car who must have been in the store. She put the fluid in for me too, and was super nice and told me not to worry about it.

I felt like such a feminist failure, but two ladies helped me so feminism win?
