I have some questions... questions about coffee.
A few years ago, due to lack of counter space and a misguided attempt to reduce my coffee intake (HA!), I switched from a regular ol' coffeemaker to a French press.
My thinking was, "It's such a pain, I'll only make coffee on the weekends!" And this is true but it's also problematic. I'm still drinking coffee 5 - 7 days a week, just not making it at home.
This means I'm spending money at coffee shops, using lots of disposable cups, all that stuff I don't wanna do.
So! I think I've decided to go back to a regular ol' coffeemaker. But I want to know where/how I should spend my money when it comes to the coffeemaker. Do you love yours? Hate it? Is there some awesome new feature that's emerged in the last few years that I need to know about?
Also, do you have a French press? How the hell do you clean the damn thing?! There's got to be a better way than my method! THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!
Finally, and only related because it's coffee, what the hell is cold-brewed coffee? I keep seeing it everywhere but I don't know what the big whoop is.
So... cawfee tawk. Whaddya think?
