Some of the more effective ways to suppress the vote are limiting early voting and not having enough places to vote. Ergo, standing in a long line on a Tuesday might be difficult. What if we started a campaign to lobby to managers and owners of businesses to close or let their employees out to vote? It’s something at least. Some people who are assholes will just say no, but surely community pressure (or even large scale pressure for larger companies) would make a dent in the problem. I am talking just about good faith lobbying. Making it seem like a good, patriotic thing to do.

Just brainstorming here. Does something like this exist already?
