In response to this article on the main page about the Texas DSHS’s pamhplet entitled A Woman’s Right to Know, I have sent emails to Department of State Health Services: Woman’s Right to Know- email@example.com and customer service - firstname.lastname@example.org detailing some of them misinformation contained in the pamphlet.
If any of you are bored and would like to join in please do so.
I provided links to other sites and quotes from those sites that back up some of my accusations.
Example: In response to the assertion of 0.73 per 100,000 fatalities from legal abortions from 2008-2011 I included this:
The rate of maternal mortality in Texas spiked from 18.6 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2010 to more than 30 per 100,000 in 2011 and remained over 30 per 100,000 through 2014, according to a recent study in the medical journal Obstetrics and Gynecology. That’s significantly higher than Italy (2.1 deaths per 100,000 live births), Japan (3.3) and France (5.5), and more in line with Mexico (38.9) or Turkey and Chile (15.2), according to World Health Organization statistics.
I included the fact that I am woman who also happens to be a resident of Texas but I don’t know if living here makes a difference.
