It was okay, I guess.

I mean, he was pleasant enough, and we had a decent conversation, but he didn't really ask me anything about myself at all, and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked me to split it with him, which in and of itself is perfectly fine... The only reason why it bothers me in this situation is because he ordered three times the amount of food I did, so by splitting the bill 50/50 (as opposed to just doing separate checks) I ended up paying for my meal AND half of everything he ordered. I had an entree and water, he had an appetizer, a salad, an entree, a dessert, tea, and a coffee drink. This is in addition to the fact that I drove 25 minutes from where I'm at to meet him at a place up by his house. It just...seems sort of tacky and inconsiderate. If I'm being nitpicky or shallow, you can tell me. It just struck me as sort of impolite, and manners are a big deal to me, especially for a first meeting. I probably should have spoken up about how we did the checks, but I felt awkward.

Meh. I don't know. It was a turn off. He just didn't seem like a very considerate person, and despite the fact that he expressed some interest in me using his words, I didn't feel like he showed it with his actions. I don't know that I'll say yes if he asks me out again. :/
