I ate my first real NJ tomato & ear of corn this week from the Friday farmer’s market. Apparently most of my Jersey friends did, too, if social media is the indicator. We eat early corn & tomatoes from nearby states and think, “Yea, that’s pretty tasty.” Then we eat the first NJ crop.....well, heads & taste buds explode & sheer joy ensues!!! We remember why this is one of the reasons we live here:) We also have excellent clams, which if you know me, you know! I will say that Massachusetts fries their clammy goodness better than anywhere, evah.
