Some taiwanese gal in my class told me to just accept that i'm white and that we're all just human and that i was being racist for pointing out cultural differences. And when i told her that it's important for adapting to different cultures and that i had to do it because i was the first to go to college, that i'm mixed native american (also grew up dirt poor but didn't say that). She was all, well you chose it.... RAAAAGE!!! So much i wanted to say, but instead i said, well you know that color blind ideology is racist too and stomped off. Now i'm sitting here in the USU all triggered... grrr...
