Do you prefer e-books or hard copy books? Why?

I have a Kindle, which is great for travel or nights of insomnia (I throw a blanket over my shoulder and read without disturbing Homey by turning on a light). I also find I read faster with e-books. But I do find I don’t remember as much reading my Kindle as I do reading print books. Because of that, I only use it to read things for fun, nothing for work or anything that is especially important to me. How about you guys?

The last book I finished was Alan Cumming’s memoir, Not My Father’s Son, which was heartbreaking and beautifully written. Currently, I’m reading Lady Audley’s Secret for the Dec./Jan. GT Book Club (discussion in two weeks, woot woot!). Next, I’m going to read vol. 1 of Bitch Planet. I can’t wait!

How about y’all?
