Hey, all, it’s been a while—let’s talk lit.!

I was driving home this morning and on NPR they were discussing upcoming TV shows, based on books. It got me thinking about book adaptations—which are good? Which are bad? What do y’all think? Is the book always better than the movie (or TV show)? (You can hear the NPR piece here—it sounds like there’s some great stuff coming up!)

I have been enjoying/dreading The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu. It’s so well done that it’s painful, so I just watched episode three the other day. Slowly but surely.

Of course, in addition, I’d love to hear how you’re doing with just plain ol’, regular ol’ books. So, please remember to tell us:

  • What book did you most recently finish?
  • What are you reading now?
  • What’s next on your “to read” list?
  • Do you have/need any book recs?
