So as I mentioned before, I went to a LELO event celebrating the opening of their new exhibit at the Pleasure Chest in the gray area between Midtown East & the Upper East, 2nd Ave between E 60th and 61st. There were several reality TV personalities there, including Patti Stanger, Carole Radziwill, Ramona Singer, and Aviva Drescher. Casper Van Dien, actor and star of a recent LELO movie, was there with his wife, Catherine Oxenberg. There were sex educators, freelance writers, and bloggers there as well. As I said, I didn’t stay long, due to my date running away to bingo, and to the awful trek back to the suburbs that is an NJ Transit commute, but I had fun.

Now onto what y’all have been waiting to hear about:

The gift-bag!

LELO were super generous with the swag they handed out. My gift-bag included the Iris vibrator in blue, the Ora 2 toy in deep rose, a toy-cleaner, and a personal moisturizer. The first toy I tried was the Iris vibrator. I’ll be honest; I didn’t love it. It felt uncomfortably big, and it didn’t really do anything without clitoral stimulation. It did help warm me up for when I inevitably got bored and finished myself off with my fingers.

Next came the Ora 2. This was better. For anyone unfamiliar with the functions of the Ora:

But it still didn’t fully do the trick.

Then, like the first person to combine marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker, I was hit by inspiration.

I would use these two toys TOGETHER!

This required some maneuvering, and some dexterity to keep them from rubbing together, but it felt amazing. I didn’t even need lube as I used the Ora 2 first, then added the Iris.

I would recommend using the Ora 2 with a partner for maximum benefit, preferably in doggy-style or with receiving partner on top to avoid it getting in the way. The Iris...honestly, still not my fave, but I’ll give it a few more tries.

Now get thee to your nearest purveyor of sex toys. You’ll thank me later.
