I have a couple of more serious writerly posts I wanted to write, but frankly this week has been mentally draining and it just isn't the appropriate time for what I want to write. So instead I'm spending a little time in my mental happy place: the kitchen. It's Sunday which is my meal planning day, and just finished watching Jon Favreau's movie Chef.
What is on your food wish list this week? Tell me about the best dish you've ever had. If you could have any food all the time with zero consequences, what would it be?
I'm considering doing something interesting and combining a Cuban style coconut chicken with a Thai style saffron rice. I'm also considering making lemon bars, because lemon bars.
