SuChin Pak has started a podcast about money called Open Account. It’s not about money from people who are already 5 steps ahead in privilege, it examins the real nitty gritty of struggles with money and learning from the ground up.

Much like me, SuChin grew up with immigrant parents who weren’t raised with the American banking system. They were relatively poor, and in turn she made huge mistakes with money. It’s good for anyone out there who is struggling and just wanting to learn about the basics through other people’s life lessons.

The first episode is with a player for the Portland Trailblazers, which reflects a lot of what was shown in the ESPN “30 for 30” about pro athletes and money (which I think is still on Netflix and definitely worth watching).

Yeah, it’s a podcast sponsored by a bank, but I think it’s worth a listen.
