Back in my college days of persuasive arguing and journalism classes, the training was always to make your arguments in odd-numbered batches (3 arguments, 5 arguments, 7 arguments, etc., although the "rule of three" was popular in limited newsprint space) This is the first time I've seen it pinpointed at exactly three.
