Teacher and class discover that Double Stuff Oreos really only contain 1.86 times the stuff. From the Consumerist:

He split his students into different groups to measure the cookies’ heights and weights.

“We weighed 10 of each – Double Stuf, Mega Stuf and regular,” he said. “And we weighed five wafers alone to deduct from the total.”

From there on out it was a matter of crunching the numbers: The students found that the Double Stuf Oreos are only 1.86 times the size of regular Oreos, while the Megas clocked in at 2.68 times the size of regular Oreos. Of course, there’s no specific expectation of the exact measurements required to dub something Mega, but interesting nonetheless.

Stupid education. Ruining everything since, well, forever.
