Hey New Yorkers! I'm coming to town later this month to go to a concert at Radio City. I'll probably get a hotel or stay with friends in Manhattan, but I want hang out in Brooknahm (Brooklyn Museum) and Queens (PS1) as well.

In the past, I've only taken cabs or cars to Brooklyn, but that was kind of a pain in the ass. (Cabs were reluctant to cross the Brooklyn Bridge, for some unknown reason).

I'm happy taking the train, but my question are:

1. Is it easy to take the train from Brooklyn up to Queens, or is that a bus situation?

2. Are cabs still as leery about Brooklyn as they were 15 years ago when I last tried it?

3. Any other crosstown travel tips?
