Of course I forgot onions when I went to the grocery store just now. But I've already taken my pants off and I'm not putting them back on to trek through the tundra just to buy onions, so I will work around them!

Anyway, here are my options:

  • Roasted butternut squash with saffron risotto
  • Mac & Cheese with bacon and Gruyere
  • Homemade sloppy joes with fresh baked buns
  • something involving either the beautiful elephant garlic or avocado I have and anything that's in the above menu list

I'm a fridge minimalist and tend to only buy the ingredients of what I know I'm going to make something with within the week, so my fridge always looks pretty bare. Thoughts? Suggestions?
