Boyname and I are going on a vacation in September, we just don't know where yet. Because of the short notice, we'll be somewhere in the USA unless something amazing shows up for a Iceland, England, or Scotland. We don't want to go overseas without more research and he has researched those 3 locations a bunch in the last year.

Our thought is a national park or 2 since we have a park pass. We have been to the Utah parks and Grand Canyon. We thought about Yosemite, Sequoia, and San Francisco as that has been on my list a long time but with the fires nearby we are hesitant on Yosemite. Now we are thinking Yellowstone. Does anybody know if the crowds have reduced to reasonable by September? Any suggestions as to stuff we absolutely shouldn't miss or any easy to moderate hikes that are awesome? We would also be open to other NP ideas that would be nice in that time frame.

Thanks!
