A local farmer is offering whole or half milk shares (whole or half gallon a week). The hippy-dippy part of me really likes the idea of raw milk. The half of me that has taken science and ag classes knows that pasteurize milk for a reason. Of course, the internet is no help, it seems most of the sources either tout it as a miracle drink that will kill all that ails me, or a death trap that will give me terrible diseases as soon as a drop of it passes between my lips.

So, I was wondering if anybody here had any experience with raw milk, or any good sources for helping me make this decision.
