In the wake of the shooting of Corporal Nathan Cirillo at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, filmmaker Omar Albach wanted to see how people in Cirillo's hometown, Hamilton, would react to street harassment of Muslims. His experiment did not end well, for the actor playing the harasser, as he was sucker punched in the nose.

Other passersby were less violent, but also confronted the actor when he started harassing another man in Islamic-style dress.

So tip of the hat, Steeltown, for not standing by and letting racism happen. But wag of the finger for trying to solve things with violence.
