My mom had a seizure on Friday in the grocery store. She was sent to the ER and stayed in the hospital all weekend so she could be monitored and was released yesterday. She is fine and has been fine since Friday night. Everything looks good, and there isn't really a reason as to why she had a seizure. The doctor said that factors such as major stress, dehydration, and her dieting could've created "the perfect storm" for a seizure to have occurred.

My point of telling you this is to say that I want you to take care of yourself. Take time out to care for and about yourself. My mom puts other people before herself. Sometimes, it's necessary for us to think about our health and well-being rather than try to cater to others. I don't think that's selfish at all. Don't let things get to you. The neighbor situation I mentioned last week, in which my neighbor's sound system is loud enough for us to hear, really bothered my mom for the past couple of days. I think it got to her so much that it stressed her out even more. Don't go on crazy diets that might fuck with your body. Don't push yourself to exhaustion. I know these things are easier said than done, but apparently 10% of people can suffer a one-time seizure in their lifetime. So please, please practice some self-TLC as often as you can!
