I'm dumb. Help me? I have a Chromebook. I use OpenOffice app as my word processor. My writing professor wants me to email her an assignment in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format. OpenOffice requires me to save files on some form of cloud storage rather than my computer. If I email her my assignment in .doc format using a link to my Google Drive, will she be able to open it in Microsoft Word?
Any suggestions for better word processing apps would be welcome, too. I got this laptop before I received my syllabus with incredibly strict and detailed instructions (which I didn't name here, it gets crazier).
