Some serious and interesting questions were raised, and not all of them were answered in a way that left me satisfied (unfortunately). But it's very interesting that the power players in the casting game are all women, and yet there is a legitimate problem when it comes to women's roles on screen. Minority roles are the one thing they did seem to skate over, which isn't a huge surprise given that they're all white, although again — disappointing.

Whether these people are passing the buck, or just working within their guidelines, whether they have a lot of clout or just have to follow the dictates of others, etc. it's an interesting peek into a part of the industry that doesn't normally get much exposure.
