An EU court said the other day that folks have the "right to be forgotten" and Google should unlink folks name if the folks want to. I never heard of this but I like it. I am not sure if it would work in the US. It seems kind of a novel idea. I think it will probably catch fire soon especially for those who post under their real name or on facebook, 5 to 15 years from now folks may want their posts/blogs removed. I suspect the Salon columnist who wrote about her child proposing may want when he is a teen to have that removed. Thats just one example. Legally would that work?
