didn't need to be: the pink CPAP machine.

Recently, I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea,* and I was prescribed a CPAP machine to help me breathe at night. Today I was finally going over all of the paperwork that came with it, and apparently they make pink CPAP machines just for us ladies with OSA. Ugh, why? The machine I have, which I think is the standard issue, is silver and it looks fine the way it is. In fact, I think the silver model makes the device look like a nice clock radio and not like a piece of medical equipment. I'm pretty sure they don't make a blue machine just for men. Y u so sexist, CPAP makers?
